Them: Errr, well, we're not, but you can take a photograph.
Me: Oh!
Them: Laugh"

Andrei"I’m from a small town from Romania, I’m a civil engineer so in essence I’m interested in how things are built, my brain is shaped to look at objects trying to understand the materials, how things are designed. I have been here in Aarhus for about 9 months now. I came to study Innovation & Entrepreneurship looking for new opportunities. I’m not sure if I will stay or I will leave, it is difficult to tell as when I see an opportunity I grab it and I don’t look back." Andrei Tudor Pop

Mikkel"Aarhus is my hometown, so I basically love everything about it, mostly the people, I love the internationals, the immigrants, the weirdos, the stuck-up people, the stressed out people. I guess it all comes down to the people, that is what I love the most about Aarhus. Sometimes, I wish there was more nature in city, more parks and perhaps more affordable rent for small business owners. I would totally keep Godsbanen and Institut for x and everything down there the way it is." Mikkel Duus Jensen
Gitte
Gitte "I was born in North Jutland but I'm currently based in Risskov, Aarhus. I teach, live and breathe Innovation & Entrepreneurship. I love Aarhus because it is big and small at the same time, everything is within reach, it is warm and cozy, it is the pure essence of Hygge although I think we should dare more, we should take more chances to stand out. We should stop thinking of ourselves as Copenhagen's little sister city and think more about ourselves as a city with incredible potential and hardworking people. I want to keep learning and explore all the new challenges that are around the corner. I'd like to see Gender equality to be the norm for the benefit of the good women and men alike." Ole
OleI have a hope, that all these new things being built over the past 5-6 years, specially around the harbour, all these the new buildings, don’t change what Aarhus means to people. I hope this rapid development expansion is not happening too fast. We have a really compact city centre, where people spend time. I hope that if you expand the city centre to other areas, that will also enrich the empty spaces with experiences, not with corporate headquarters. I hope we can keep owning the city. I hope that Aarhus does not change its spirit. Aarhus has been always a city by the sea, now we have an opportunity to reclaim for the citizens what it was a private industrial area, the port that is, and make it ours, make it liveable.

Belen
BelenI love the fact that in Aarhus you can see two Rainbows at the same time, that is a very unusual thing to see! Also, it is clear that in Aarhus you can develop new projects, for example we developed TEDx Aarhus, we did our research and discover that there was no such event, so we started to work on that and it is amazing that you can ask for help and people will help you to make it happen. HOA: What would you do if you had all the means in the world to do whatever you want? I will probably teach people about emotional intelligence, specially to those that are harming the lives of others, also I think I will export the work-life balance policies from Denmark to other places, specially Spain, there is a need to have trust between employee and employer.
