Julian Schnapel's Action Paintings | Study | All about the details

A couple of days ago I visited Julian Schnapel’s Action Paintings exhibition at Aros to learn and be inspired. To start with, I alway enjoy visiting Aros not only because I always learn something or notice something new in a painting I have seen before, but also, I enjoy the freedom to take photographs and explore paintings from a different angle.

Every time I go to Aros I try to photograph and frame in accordance to the artist in exhibit. This session is actually the opposite. This time I took a 50 mm lens to this exhibition, not a smart choice, considering that the paintings are incredibly tall and wide and full of furious movement for the most part, however, this first study, was all about the details. I will be back.

If you are in Aarhus and you need inspiration in your life or your projects or {Insert reason here} please, go to Aros and visit Julian Schnapel's Action Paintings exhibition, bring a friend your better half or anyone that wants to joining in this journey.
