Humans of Aarhus (HOA): Where are you from? What brought you to Aarhus?
I am from Romania and I actually came to Aarhus by mistake. After many life mistakes in a row, a huge failure brought me to Aarhus, at the time I was almost homeless and with the plan to stay here for no more than 2 weeks. Those 2 weeks became almost 5 yearsm and I’ve never been happier!
HOA: What do you like the most about Aarhus?
I really like its strong culture and the nature surrounding it. I walk through the forest almost daily and I can’t get enough of it, but if I must say what I love the most is to be bable to spend time with my Danish best friend, which happens to be my boyfriend, that was Aarhus gift to me! (Haha)
HOA: What would you improve about Aarhus?
I think that Aarhus is improving every day and it’s a place where I hardly find problems. It is hard to find anything wrong with this city.
HOA: What do you want to do in the next few years?
In the next few years I want to so many things that maybe the time will not be enough. I want to improve in music making, singing, writing, learning more about digital marketing and become a great entrepreneur.
In my entrepreneurial life, I want to show people that it’s ok to fail and to help internationals make it in a foreign country, reflecting in my own experience. I hope to inspire many people through my projects as well as being on stage with my music.
HOA:If you had all the means and resources in the world, what would you do?
Ioana: If I had all that, I will spend my life investing all in creating a better and a safer world. I will try to be wise enough to make good decisions and use myresources to create jobs where there aren’t. I will improve the educational systems, and so much more. There is an endless number of projects and ideas that once enabled can impact the world in a positive way. My biggest passion is to contribute to the world with all means and all resources I get, in a smart productive way.
Ioana is the co-founder of It's Ok To fail as well as a singer and committed Entrepreneur
